Each year we visit the school in Muyinga to understand both the immediate and long term educational needs.
During our last visit in February 2019, we identified the following priorities:
- Internet, additional computers and projectors to increase the access to educational information and help to teach the teachers
- Dormitories and canteen facilities to remove the need for upto 4 hours per day of walking to school and increase the learning day, hence improving academic success
- An equiped laboratory to enable the students to study the whole syllabus
- A 'Toral Station' theodolite to enable teaching of the latest topography techniques
We welcome any support that you can give us to help improve the educational prospects for the students of Stand Up and Build Technical School of Muyinga.
